Fall Kickoff is Here!
There are a few Sundays each year that shape the life of our church, and this Sunday is one of them.
This weekend marks the beginning of a new ministry year at Trinity, and we can’t wait to celebrate all that God has in store this fall. Whether you’ve been part of Trinity for years or you’re just beginning to explore our church family, this is the perfect Sunday to jump in.
Celebrate Baptism
One of the greatest joys in the life of a church is hearing the stories of God’s grace. This Sunday we’ll celebrate four baptisms as four young men publicly profess their faith in Jesus Christ.
Their stories may not be dramatic by the world’s standards—they’ve grown up in Christian homes, surrounded by parents, teachers, and a church family that faithfully pointed them to Christ. But that’s exactly what makes them so beautiful. God’s ordinary, patient means of grace is one of His greatest gifts, and we’ll rejoice together as these young believers declare: “This is my story.”
Come celebrate with them as we witness God’s faithfulness across generations.
New Sermon Series: This Is My Story…My Song
This Sunday also launches our new fall sermon series through the book of Acts.
Every one of us has a story. Some begin with privilege, others with pain. Some are marked by quiet faithfulness, others by dramatic rescue. But Acts reminds us that behind every redeemed story stands the same Redeemer.
Over the coming weeks we’ll meet the people whose lives Jesus transformed:
John Mark — the deserter who discovered that failure is never final.
Timothy — the timid young disciple who learned that God delights in using the weak.
Lydia — the successful fashion merchant whose heart the Lord opened.
The Slave Girl — the exploited captive whom Jesus set gloriously free.
The Philippian Jailer — the hardened Roman officer brought from the brink of suicide to everlasting joy.
Jason — the courageous host who risked everything for Christ.
Dionysius — the brilliant philosopher who discovered a wisdom greater than Athens.
Damaris — the courageous woman who stood with Christ against the culture.
Crispus — the respected synagogue ruler who found the One to whom all Scripture points.
Priscilla & Aquila — the exemplary married couple whose ordinary faithfulness changed the church.
Apollos — the gifted preacher whose humility made him even more useful to God.
The Ephesian Elders — faithful shepherds who teach us how to finish well.
Each week we’ll ask four simple questions:
Who were they?
How did Jesus meet them?
Who did they become?
What “song” did that produce?
Because every transformed life tells us something about the risen Jesus, who is still writing stories today.
Fall Is Better Together
As we begin this new ministry season, we’re also inviting everyone to take their next step in community.
Psalm 16 reminds us, “As for the saints in the land, they are the excellent ones, in whom is all my delight.” God never intended us to follow Christ alone. This fall is a wonderful opportunity to connect through a Community Group, grow in your faith alongside others, and discover the joy of belonging to God’s family.
