Check out what’s new in the life of our church!
We Have a New Baby! Join us in celebrating the arrival of the Woolbrights’ long-awaited, dearly loved, and much-prayed-for baby, Elliot! As they settle into this sweet new season of life, we’d love to surround them with practical care. If you’re able, please consider blessing the family with a meal. Whether you cook something to deliver, drop off takeout, or send a meal through DoorDash, every gift will be a tremendous encouragement and a tangible expression of our love for them.
ROOTED A Trinity Family Vision Gathering “Like a tree planted by streams of water” — Psalm 1:3
Trinity family, In a world that never stops moving, our deepest desire is not simply to keep our kids busy or entertained—we want to help them become deeply rooted in Christ. That’s why, on Sunday, August 23, immediately following the service, we’re replacing our first Discipleship Hour with Rooted, a one-hour gathering for every parent, grandparent, and volunteer who invests in the next generation. We want you to understand not just what we do in TrinityKids and Student Ministry, but why we do it. Every song we sing, every classroom we create, every lesson we teach, and every relationship we cultivate is shaped by a vision of helping children grow into men and women who know Christ and remain faithful throughout their lives.
During our time together, we’ll share:
● The vision behind TrinityKids—why we’ve structured our ministry the way we have.
● The Heart Project—our new discipleship journey through the Psalms for middle and high school students this fall.
● Where we’re headed—the next chapter of family discipleship at Trinity and how every family can be part of it.
Whether you have toddlers, teenagers, or simply care about the next generation, we’d love for you to join us.
“He is like a tree planted by streams of water…whose leaf does not wither.” — Psalm 1:3
We’re Growing—And We Need Hosts & Leaders!
Community Groups are where our church becomes family. They’re where we encourage one another, bear each other’s burdens, pray together, and help one another follow Jesus.
As Trinity continues to grow, we’re looking for more hosts and leaders who are willing to help create spaces where people can belong and flourish. Together, let’s be intentional about building meaningful relationships, growing in Christ, and serving one another with joy.
If you’d like to learn more about hosting or leading a group, we’d love to connect with you.
Maybe you've recently come to faith in Jesus. Maybe you've followed him for years but never been baptized. Or maybe you have a child who's been asking questions about it. Baptism is where the gospel goes public — where you declare that you belong to Jesus, and your church family gets to cheer. We'd love to help you take that step. Reach out to Pastor Ben — even if you're just curious.
Fall Kickoff Picnic: Every year, we gather before the rhythms of the new ministry season begin. Before Discipleship Hour resumes and our setup and teardown teams are back at work, we take time to celebrate what God is doing in our church family. It’s a wonderful opportunity to reconnect after a busy summer, welcome the new families who have found a home at Trinity, and begin the fall season together. Don’t forget to bring swimsuits, towels, and sunscreen for the kids! We’ll have bounce houses, snow cones, cornhole, great food, and plenty of time to enjoy fellowship together. We can’t wait to see you there!
Women’s Bible Study: Ezra & Nehemiah:
Join Jacquelyn and Katie for a 12-week study through Ezra and Nehemiah using Kathleen Nielson’s workbook (available on Amazon for $9.99). We’ll kick things off with an in-person gathering at Canvas on Sunday, August 16, at 12:30 p.m., where we’ll get to know one another, introduce the study, discuss pages 7–10, and work through the questions on pages 9–10.
After that, we’ll meet weekly via Zoom on Wednesdays from 8:00–9:00 p.m., beginning August 26 and continuing through November 18.
Can’t make the kickoff? No problem! We’d still love for you to join us when the weekly Zoom meetings begin.
